Creating and Directing

I got into film and television to make, to create. I have been fortunate enough to carve out a career in the industry as both a

sound recordist and a camera operator, working on many incredible productions and to work with some wonderfully inspirational creative partners and friends, to help make their visions come to life. 

 

I have also been able to make some films over the years of my own. One currently in production is Trebeth, a documentary about two wonderful elderly painters on their journey to expose a hidden treasure of incredible paintings, unseen for over 30 years. In collaboration with Mother Brown Films, you can see the trailer for this film here.

One of the projects I am super proud of being integral to the creative process, is a series of films on UK homelessness for a wonderful production team called Stories for Change. An online series visiting some of the homeless charities around the country, and discovering the incredible work they do from the people that have been helped the most. A positive look at the life of the homeless and how easy it can be to find yourself in that situation. An important series, not least at this time, during the Covid pandemic of 2020.  Click the logo below to check out what we have been up to.

My primary collaborator is with Mother Brown Films, a production company based in South East London. We create online content, documentary films, music videos, and branded advertising for charities and corporates. We take the film from idea inception to broadcast and work with you to make a film with meaning and purpose, entertaining enough to stand out from the crowd, and personal enough to convey the message you wish to share. Two other incredible production companies that I work with regularly are Thomas De Cruz Media, whom I shoot a lot of fashion films with. And Fully Focussed productions. A youth focussed film production team, who make hard hitting dramas on the key issues affecting young people today.
